Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced Structures Mechanics to support aircraft structural repair and modification operations in Tucson, Arizona. These are 12-month contract opportunities offering competitive pay and weekly per diem.
This opportunity is ideal for mechanics with commercial aircraft or CRJ experience and strong backgrounds in heavy maintenance and structural repair.

Responsibilities
- Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft components
- Remove and replace damaged or worn structural parts
- Drill, rivet, and assemble aircraft structures to specifications
- Perform sheet metal work including fabrication and installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and structural repair manuals
- Conduct inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance
- Ensure all work meets FAA, safety, and quality standards
- Accurately document maintenance and repair actions
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of structures/sheet metal experience – REQUIRED
- Experience in heavy maintenance or structural repair environments – REQUIRED
- Must pass structures assessment prior to start – REQUIRED
- Strong experience with drilling, riveting, and structural assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- A License required for licensed role
- CRJ experience preferred (for non-licensed role)
- Commercial aircraft experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Pay: $37.00/hr
- Per Diem:
- Up to $840/week total per diem (must qualify)
- Contract Length: 12 Months
- Platform: Commercial / CRJ
